How to register your SIM card with Ghana Card | 9 Simple Steps
The registration of SIM cards using the Ghana Card officially begins tomorrow, Friday, October 1st, 2021.
As the per the directive issued by the National Communication Authority (NCA), all the network service providers, including MTN, Airtel-Tigo, Vodafone Ghana, and Glo must register all SIM cards in circulation with the Ghana Card.

9 simple steps to register your SIM card with the Ghana Card
There are two basic stages to follow:
Check out the first stage below:
Step 1: Dial *404# (On All networks)
Step 2: Enter Your Ghana Card Pin (It should be letters and figures without hyphens)
Step 3: Confirm Your Ghana Card Pin
Step 4: Enter Your Surname
Step 5: Enter your First Name
Step 6: Enter Date Of Birth (format: DD,MM,YYYY)
Step 7: Select Your Gender (male or female)
Step 8: Check and confirm your entered details
Step 9: Submit the details you just provided after you have confirmation that the details you entered are all correct.
Please NOTE:
1) If it is SUCCESSFUL, you will get a confirmation message with a unique code.
2) If it is NOT SUCCESSFUL, due to some wrong details you entered, you will be given 3 attempts to answer some security questions.
3) If It is NOT SUCCESSFUL, due to failure in verification at the National Identication Authority (NIA), you will be informed to contact the NIA.
This is STAGE 2:
Just in case your registration is not successful at all, kindly visit your service provider or customer service to complete this stage of registration.
