Born William Osafo, Willisbeatz is a Ghanaian music producer, sound engineer, and Disc Jockey (DJ).
WillisBeatz is a Takoradi-based beat maker and also works as a DJ at Melody FM in Takoradi, Western Region of Ghana.
He is best known for producing these popular songs: “Taking Over” by Shatta Wale ft. Joint 77, Addi Self & Captan, “Maame Hw3” & “Sponsor” by the late Ebony Reigns, and “Osey” by Nero X.
Age & Date of Birth
The record-producer-cum-DJ was born on August 30, 1991 in Takoradi.
As it stands now, he is 28 years of age and will be 29 in August this year (2020.
Early Life, SHS Education & Music Production Career
Right from his childhood days, Willisbeatz always dreamt of making beats but did not have the means to put his dreams into reality.
Luckily for him, and whilst in Takoradi Senior High School, WillisBeatz got introduced to his classmate’s brother who was a rapper and already using Fruity Loops to produce his songs.
Through his regular engagements with his new-found rapper friend, WillisBeatz was introduced to ‘Fruity Loops’ or ‘FL Studio’ — a complete software music production environment or Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
WillisBeatz took the production of music seriously right after completing Takoradi Senior High School.
He actively started producing records for artistes from the year, 2009.
