Mix Master or Masta Garzy Biography
Born Benjamin Garzy Mensah, Mix Master Garzy is a Ghanaian record producer, sound engineer, disc jockey, and singer.
Mix Master Garzy is best known for hit songs like “Enemies” by Jupitar ft. Sarkodie, “Pull Up” by Stonebwoy, “Obi Agye Obi Girl” by Captain Planet of 4×4, etc.
He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the record label, 2Mg Music which previously used to manage female rapper, Eno Barony.
Family & Early Life of Mix Master Garzy
The Ghanaian record producer, Mix Master Garzy hails from the Volta Region, Ghana.
He was born to Mr Francis Anim Garzy and Madam Ernestina Abena Kwao in Tema, Ghana.
Mr Garzy is the eldest of two children of his parents.
He has John Otoo Kwao as his younger brother.
JHS, SHS & Tertiary Education of Mix Master Garzy
Master Garzy completed his basic and junior high secondary education at the Better Best Academy located at Tema 4 Poles, Ghana.
He had his senior high school education at the Tema Methodist Senior High School.
Master Garzy was awarded a diploma in Broadcast Journalism after completing Ghana Institute of Journalism.
After his completion, Master Garzy worked as a part-time DJ at Xfm and Urban Internet Radio in Ghana.
Career – Music Production
Garzy Mensah began the production, mixing, and mastering of music when he was in Senior High School where he got his brand name, Mix Master Garzy.
His brand name — Mix Master Garzy — was derived from his ability to mix and master his studio works easily.
One of Master Garzy’s first major hits was ‘Iskoki” by Samini produced in 2015 which was nominated the same year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
