You need more prayers than I do – Ofori Amponsah fires at Evangelist Lord Kenya
Ghanaian Highlife musician, Ofori Amponsah has f!red a salvo at Evangelist Lord Kenya for snubbing him because he (Ofori Amponsah) has backslid as a pastor.
Ofori Amponsah aka Pastor Alewa in an outburst mode chided the onetime secular rapper, Evangelist Lord Kenya for publicly ignoring him when they both met in Holland sometime ago.
The ‘Otoolege’ hit-maker told Hammer Kofi Nti in an interview on Pure FM’s Hammer Time entertainment show, that Evangelist Lord Kenya is the one who rather needs more prayers and not him.
Evangelist Lord Kenya had previously in an interview said his colleague, Ofori Amponsah needed more prayers because of his backslide as a pastor.
When asked directly by Hammer for his response to what Evangelist Lord Kenya had said about him needing more prayers, Ofori Amponsah furiously said:
“He (Lord Kenya) rather needs more prayers than he claims I do.
“I will say it here. When I met him in Holland and I said hello, he chose to ignore me and said he did not want to have anything to do with me.
“So tell me, who’s the true man of God here? “If you claim to be doing the work of God, just continue with your evangelism.
“And when it is time for us to also go into evangelism, we surely shall do our bit.”
Ofori Amonsah had earlier complained bitterly about people he thought were his friends but left him when he changed his mind to go back to do secular high-life music instead of doing the work of God.
He said:
“Let me tell you something, Hammer.
“There is a friend of mine who’s a big Evangelist (I won’t mention his name) that I met in Holland who told me plainly that he won’t talk me because I of my backslide as a pastor.
“But that’s hypocrisy on his part for saying he won’t talk to me because I did ‘Alewa’.
“I own my life and have to do things that please me and not anybody.”
