Tiwa Savage $3x video with boyfriend goes viral

Award-winning Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has averred that she is currently being blackmailed over her $3.x video.

The revered songstress noted that the $3.x video features her and her current lover.

Tiwa made this revelation during an interview with American OAP, Angie Martinez of Power 105.1. Speaking about the situation, Tiwa  said that her lover is distraught with the development.

Much to the dismay of fans, the clip quickly went viral as users took to Twitter to air their opinions.

Within 24 hours, the clip had been mentioned in over 61,000 tweets.

What has Tiwa Savage said?

Tiwa had previously outlined why she would not back down to her blackmailer, saying that she would “own her own narrative.”

Speaking to Power 105.1, she said:

“I woke up and I was like no, I’m not (going to pay) because two months down the line you’re gonna come back again.

“And then another two years. Who knows even if I do send you the money, you probably would release it anyway.

“I’m not going to allow anybody to blackmail me for doing something that is natural… this is an intimate moment with someone I’m dating.”

And after the release of the video, Tiwa was quick to defend those who criticised her for allowing it to be published.

Via a post she made on her Instagram story, she vented: “You hated how I was able to control the narrative and get ahead of the story before it consumed me and I am able to joke on stage about something you thought will destroy me and make me feel ashamed.”
