Sometime last year, the Ghanaian-Togolese actress released a naked photo of herself and her 7-year-old son.
According to Akuapem Poloo, she posted the photo to celebrate her son’s birthday because she was naked when she gave birth to him.
After incurring the wrath of Child Rights International (CRI), Poloo was invited by the Ghana Police — Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU).
The Child Rights International (CRI) at the time contended that what Akuapem Poloo did was a violation of the Welfare Principle of the Children’ ACT and abuse of the child’s right to privacy and dignity.
