Akuapem Poloo convicted over n.ude photo with son, pregnancy test to be conducted
As required by law, the Presiding Judge, Ms Christina Cann today Wednesday, April 14th, 2021, ordered a pregnancy test to be conducted on the controversial Ghanaian-Togolese actress in order to be sure of her state before her final judgement on Friday, April 16th, 2021.
Akuapem Poloo has, as a result, been remanded into police custody for the pregnancy test to be conducted on her before she receives her sentence on Friday, April 16th, 2021.
This comes after the controversial Ghanaian-Togolese actress changed her plea from ‘not guilty’ to ‘guilty’ to all the three charges levelled against her.
Akuapem Poloo on Friday is likely to be sentenced to either a jail term, community service, or be fined by the court.
Last year, Akuapem Poloo incurred the wrath of Child Rights International (CRI) after she posted a nake.d photo of herself and her 7-year-old son on her Instagram page, and was thus invited by the Ghana Police.
The Child Rights International (CRI) at the time contended that what Akuapem Poloo did was a violation of the Welfare Principle of the Children’ ACT and abuse of the child’s right to privacy and dignity.
