2021 BET Awards winners: Burna Boy, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby win
The full list of winners for the 2021 Bet Awards has been released this Sunday, June 27th, 2021.
The show, which was telecast live from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, was hosted by award-winning actress Taraji P. Henson.
This year’s edition which had the theme “Year of the Black Woman,” honoured Queen Latifah with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
A special tribute to the late rap legend DMX also featured performances by Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Swizz Beatz, and Griselda.
Burna Boy from Nigeria won the “Best International Act” award for the third time in a row.
Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby walked away as the night’s biggest winner with four awards.
Performers on the night included Andra Day, the City Girls, DJ Khaled, Jazmine Sullivan, Lil Nas X, Kirk Franklin, Migos, among others.
