The full list of winners for the 2019 Ghana DJ Awards was announced at the Accra International Conference Centre this Saturday, November 2nd, 2019.
Eleven-year-old disc jockey, DJ Switch known in her private life as Erica Armah Bra-Bulu Tandoh made history after becoming the youngest Ghanaian DJ ever to be crowned the Best DJ Of The Year at the 2019 Ghana DJ Awards.
Competitors she beat to win the coveted award included DJ Mic-Smith, DJ Vyrusky, DJ Sly, DJ Aroma and DJ Black.
The 2017 Ghana’s most talented kids winner also won the Best Female DJ Award Of The Year on the night.
She wrote on Twitter after her win:
Oh my God fans, WE MADE IT yeeeeee
for the #bestfemaledj’19 and the overall #bestdj of the year’19. I thank the most high God for the award, A big thanks to the organizers of @ghanadjawards thanks to my senior Djs in the same categories, my fans, thank you Ghana & beyond!
Performers on the night were Wendy Shay, Eno Barony, and other artistes.
Other winners on the night in the different categories were DJ Mpesempese, DJ Sly, Gal Dem DJ, DJ Edita, DJ Pyrate, DJ Kokobihoko, among others.
