Sefa was born on Sunday, May 7th, 1995 in the Northern Region of Ghana.

There are a lot of rumours going around that the boyfriend of Sefa, is her own boss and owner of Black Avenue Muzik label, D-Black.
It has been alleged time and again that Sefa is in a s.e’xu.al relationship with her boss, D-Black.
Sefa has, however, claimed in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso aka Delay that she has been a celibate (“virgin”) for the past seven years, without having s.e’x with anyone.
Also reacting to the rumour on the ‘Gee $p0t’ show with MzGee, Sefa denied the allegation and said people are entitled to their opinions.
“No. We are not. Well, I think people are entitled to their opinions because they feel like he is a celebrity and then he (D-Black) is nice, he has money and so before he signs you, you have to warm his bed, it doesn’t make sense,” she said.
Is Sefa a virgin?
In 2019, Sefa, who was then 24 years old, first hit the headlines with the claim that she was still a virgin even at age 24.
In an interview with Zionfelix, the songstress said she has been a virgin all that while because of her strict disciplinarian mother who didn’t allow her from childhood to mingle with the single guys in her neighbourhood.

She added in the same interview with Zionfelix that because she made a vow to protect her dignity (virginity) till she gets married, she was never ready to settle with any man who would come and just b.a,ng and leave her.
Fast forward to July 2021, Sefa in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show, maintained her virginity status but this time around, only said that she has never had s.e’x with anyone for the past 7 years — which is from 2014-2021.
And throughout these 7 years that she has been single, she has never had any s.e.xu.al relationships with anyone as she lives a celibate life.

Sefa has vehemently denied the claim that she sometime ago went to the Dominican Republic to see a female surgeon named Los Santos to perform surgery on her so she gets a perfect body.

When Deloris Frimpong Manso, host of the ‘Delay Show’, asked her (Sefa) whether she has ever taken any risky venture in her life like going under the surgeon’s knife to enhance her body, this is what the “Echoke” singer said:
“Going under the knife? Ermm no. I’ve not gone under the knife. I haven’t.
“I don’t even know who the said female surgeon named Los Santos is. I have the kind of body that I have today because I am a healthy person. I eat very well.
“I also make sure I train here and there. I have somebody who comes to my house to train me.
“I don’t have any problem with anybody who has gone under the knife because I feel like you have the right to do whatever you want to do with your body….
“I don’t even have a Visa to the Dominican Republic …I don’t even know how to get there.
“I think have always had a flat tummy. It is just that it is now that…you see, when I was growing up as a kid, I wasn’t comfortable in my skin. I was very shy and I always looked down upon myself until recently when I had the confidence to wear anything to showcase my body.“
Sefa Music Career
Her dream was to become an air hostess, but that changed after Senior High School at Ola Girls, as she started performing regularly at the Crystal Club, and later at Piano Bar every weekend, and other events.
Sefa started showcasing her singing abilities by singing and performing with live bands at events like weddings, engagements, in night clubs, and posting videos of her performances on her Instagram page.
In return, she received some small payments for her performances which she survived on.
In 2017, whilst a student at the Accra Technical University, Sefa received a text message from the boss of Black Avenue Muzik, D-Black, inviting her to be signed to his record label.

Sefa obliged and signed a 4-year recoding deal with the Black Avenue Muzik record label.
Shortly after signing her recording deal, Sefa released her first single titled, “Marry Me” which featured Ghanaian dancehall act, Jupitar.
In May 2018, she released another hit track titled, ‘Shuga’, which featured DopeNation — a phenomenal Ghanaian twins who are a music duo, with the song produced by B2 (a member of Dope Nation).
In November 2020, she dropped her debut album with the title, ‘Growth’.
The likes of Bisa Kdei, Praiz, Fameye, Medikal, DopeNation, Sista Afia, Wendy Shay, Camidoh, and E.L. all contributed their quota in making the ‘Growth’ album a huge success.

On April 16th, 2021, Sefa premiered her biggest hit yet titled, ‘Echoke’ which features Ghanaian singer and dancer, Mr Drew.
‘Echoke’, which was released under Black Avenue Muzik record label, was produced by Rony Turn Me Up, and the video directed by Junnie Annan.
