Patapaa Amisty Biography:

Known in private life as Justice Kweku Amoah, Patapaa is a comic Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, and Highlife musician.

Patapaa is popularly known for his biggest 2017 debut hit song, “One Corner” that blew the minds of music lovers the world over.

The “One Corner” song, accompanied by the craziest and weirdest dance formation ever, was featured on international media giants like CNN, BBC, among others.

Patapaa is also best known for coining the worldwide phrase, “Sco Pa Tu Manaa” in 2019.

Getting to know Patapaa’s real age is like trying so hard to pull hair from your nose.

However, Patapeezy is believed to be in his 40s.

Patapaa aka Patapeezy (aka Patapaa Amisty) was born and raised in Swedru — his hometown — in the Central Region of Ghana.

The ‘One Corner’ hitmaker is the first born of three children of his parents, Mr Amoah and Mama Boat.

Before he became popular with his ‘One Corner’ song, Patapaa used to sell and serve dry hot gin (‘Akpetesie’) at a drinking spot owned by his mother, Mama Boat in Swedru.

Patapaa Amisty, who claims he doesn’t drink alcohol “but only takes Guinness” (Lolxx), said:

“I was pouring the shots for the people”

Patapaa after becoming popular has grabbed his sweet heart who is a German national.

The German lady in question goes by the name Liha Miller.

Patapaa, as BieGyaNation.Com understands, early this year (2020) introduced his German sweetheart to his family and friends in Swedru in the Central Region.

The two lovebirds finally tied the knot in a much publicized wedding on Saturday, January 2nd, 2020.

The  “Sco Pa Tu Manaa”  man was recently gifted a BMW Convertible car by his now German wife on his birthday.

Patapaa House (mansion)

The ‘One Corner’ hitmaker recently announced to the world that he has been able to build for himself a three-bed room house at Swedru.

According to Patapaa, this remains his biggest achievement because he never dreamt in his lifetime, doing such a massive project.

He added that he was able to buy a plot of land where he built his 4-bedroom house with money generated from his ‘One Corner’ song.

Patapaa Music Career: One Corner

Long before Patapaa became an item on the list of music lovers, he had other songs — about 16 demos —- that were played in Swedru but were not popular.

Then sometime in 2017, individual videos of his ‘One Corner’ song accompanied by the craziest dance moves ever started surfacing on social media which would later become an albatross around the necks of some Ghanaians.

There were reports of one or two Ghanaians having died as a result of the crazy ‘One Corner’ dance.

Whilst ‘One Corner’ was enjoying massive airplay, it also received some bashing from some famous Ghanaians including: Sonnie Badu, Prophet Kumchacha, Maame Dokono, among others.

In 2018, Patapaa’s ‘One Corner’ was highly tipped to win the ‘Most Popular Song Of The Year’ award at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards but ‘sadly’ lost to Fancy Gadam’s ‘Total Cheat’ song.

Another worldwide hit song Patapaa played a role in, apart from his ‘One Corner’ hit, is “Akwabaa” by Guilty Beatz which featured Pappy Kojo and Mr. Eazi.
