According to Mr Drew, that childhood ordeal placed a huge psychological burden on him and as a result, started exploring more about sex, leading him to break his virginity at age 16.

Mr Drew, who made this known in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM in Accra, said he started dating his female seniors when he was even in Junior High School and that, older women always treat him good because they find him cute.
He revealed that during his school days at Achimota Senior High School, his female seniors used to fight over him for his love, and there was even an occasion where a female senior stuffed a chop box with assorted provisions and brought it from home to him on campus, all because the said female senior was in love with him.

After the release of ‘Dw3’ by Mr Drew, his former label mate, Kurl Songx accused him (Mr Drew) and Krymi of stealing his song.
According to the allegation made by Kurl Songx, the ‘Dw3’ song was stolen by his former boss and owner of Highly Spiritual Music Label, Kaywa, and literally handed over to Mr. Drew and Krymi to perform as their own.
For the second time, Mr Drew was accused of stealing popular Nigerian-American actor and singer, Rotimi’s ‘Love Riddim’ song. Mr Drew, who had his version of Rotimi’s song titled as ‘Eat’, featured Ghanaian dancehall act, Stonebwoy.
‘Eat’ was subsequently removed from Youtube after it was reported by an unnamed Ghanaian for copyright infringement.

Long before Mr Drew became the top Ghanaian singer he is today, he was a well-known dancer,
He also learnt about acting (theatre), video editing, and video directing.
