Born Brian Ouko Omollo Robert, Khaligraph Jones is an award-winning Kenyan hip hop artiste, songwriter, and record producer.
Khaligraph Jones alias OG who raps in both Swahili and English, is undoubtedly the face of Kenyan Hip Hop.
He hit the limelight with the hit song titled, “Yego”, and is best known for the major hit songs including: “Superman”, “Japo Kidogo”, “The Khali Cartel”, “Wavy ft. Sarkodie“, among others.

The Kenyan rapper is currently 30 years old and will be 31 come June this year, 2021.
Khaligraph Jones Childhood, Early Life, Parents, Hometown
Khaligraph Jones was born in Kenya’s Eastland area, Kayole ‘1960’ (his hometown) which is considered to be one of the dangerous places to live in Nairobi, Kenya.
He is the 4th of seven siblings, and was named Ouko Robert by his mother after the late Kenyan politician Dr. Robert John Ouko who was assassinated on February 13th, 1990.
Khaligraph’s elder brother, Span KOB who is a businessman-cum-artist inspired him to get into music when he was in Primary school.
Khaligraph lived his life in Kayole (also known as Kayole 1960) where he went through a lot of struggles.

Khaligraph Jones attended Brucewood High School — a private mixed day school in Kayole, Embakasi.
The rapper has, however, said in some interviews that he dropped out of High school when he was in form 4.

Khaligraph’s better-half or baby mama is known as Georgina Muteti. The two started dating sometime in 2017.
In June 2019, the couple welcomed a bouncing baby girl named, Amali (Amina) Jones Ouko.
On Sunday, October 11, 2020, at exactly 12.58am, they welcomed their second baby.
Khaligraph Jones also has another son with his ex-girlfriend rapper, Cashy Karimi who not long ago called him out for allegedly failing to support his son, Xolani, financially.
Khaligraph Jones Music Career
Inspired and influenced by his elder brother businessman-cum-artiste Span KOB, Khaligraph Jones aka Papa Jones aka Babayao aka Mr. Omollo started taking his career seriously in 2007 after releasing his first track in 2004 at age 13.
His life experience of being exposed to crime and poverty in Kayole 1960 — which is considered to be one of the most dangerous places in Kenya — equipped him in writing his own lyrics and developing a rap style in his teens.
In 2009, Khaligraph alias OG who was then 19 years old won the Kenyan Edition of the Channel O Emcee Africa competition which immediately propelled him to nationwide acclaim.
In 2012, Jones who became known for freestyle cypher collaborated with Abbas Kubaff to release the single, “Tema Ma Verse”.
In 2014, Khaligraph Jones released his debut studio album titled, “Point of No Return”.
Before the year ended, Jones followed the album quickly with “Autograph” — a collection of previously released tracks.
In 2015, he released some single tracks before dropping the mixtape, “Eff Off”.
In 2018, Khaligraph Jones dropped his second album titled, “Testimony 1990”.
In 2020, he went on to release the mixtape with the title, “The Take Over”.
Khaligraph has, since then, worked with top Kenyan music artistes including: Stella Mwangi, Xtatic, Rabbit, Abbas Kubaff, Kristoff, Chiwawa, Christine Apondi, The Mith of Klear Kut, Kaytrixx, Dj Creme Dela Creme, and Ulopa Ngoma.
Jones is signed to Blu Ink Corp, Spincycle Entertainment.
