Diamond Platnumz who is a Muslim by religion was born at the Amana Hospital in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, East Africa.
Diamond has an elder brother, Romeo Abdul Jones aka Rommy Jones who works for him as his DJ, and two other blood related sisters namely; Queen Darleen, and Esma Platinumz.
Platnumz aka Chibu Dangote grew up in his grandmother’s house located at the Western part of his hometown, Tandale in Tanzania.
